Worcester Bosch describes 1017 on Greenstar 8000 Life boilers as: water pressure too low.

Recommended pressure when cold for Worcester Bosch boilers: 1.0 to 1.5 bar.

What you can safely do

  1. Let the heating cool down, then read the pressure gauge.
  2. Worcester Bosch says to re-charge the system if it reads less than 1 bar. Top up through the filling loop until it reads 1 to 1.5 bar, following your user manual.
  3. Close the filling loop fully.
