Hive receiver lights explained
The receiver is the box near your boiler. Its status light, top right, tells you whether it can talk to the thermostat and hub.

Common questions
What does a red light on my Hive receiver mean?
Hive says a solid red status light means the receiver has lost its wireless connection to the thermostat. You can still use the buttons on the receiver to switch the heating on and off while you reconnect it.
Why is there no light on my Hive receiver?
Hive says no status light means the receiver has no power. Check the boiler's isolation switch and your fuse box.
What does flashing amber mean on a Hive receiver?
A double amber flash means the receiver is searching for your hub. A single amber flash means it has found the hub and is ready to pair with the thermostat.
