Hive thermostat not connecting?
A Hive thermostat that shows No Signal or goes offline in the app has usually just lost touch with the receiver. These steps, from Hive's own guides, reconnect it.

Reconnect the thermostat
- Look at the receiver near your boiler. If it has no lights at all, check the boiler is switched on at its isolation switch and nothing has tripped in your fuse box. 3 Hive sources
- Lift the thermostat off its wall hooks and take it close to the receiver. 2 Hive sources
- Take the batteries out and put them straight back in. This restarts the thermostat. 2 Hive sources
- Turn the target temperature up above the room temperature, and check the receiver's status light and heating light go green. 3 Hive sources
- Wait five minutes, then refresh the Hive app. 2 Hive sources

While it's not connected
- You can still switch the heating and hot water on and off with the buttons on the receiver near your boiler. 3 Hive sources
- If the app says your devices are offline, check the hub first. When the hub is offline, every device shows offline. 2 Hive sources
